The Water Works Park Tower in Detroit, Michigan was ”founded” in 1876 and then demolished later in 1945. It was built in less than two years and it was the ”Empire State Building of its time”. Interestingly, this water tower was the first water distribution of its kind as many early cities struggled with sanitation during this time. Is this an old-world structure that was repurposed and then destroyed because they were worried that people may start to ask questions in the future?
