A month after Oct 7, fatigue is setting in. Tens of thousands of Israelis have been displaced since Hamas’ massacre in the south. The immediate shift into war means a nation—with a tradition to “sit shiva” to honor the grief seven days after a death—has been running on adrenaline for a month.
One day, after every sword has been melted into a plowshare, we’ll remember days like these and marvel that we got things so wrong, but that He finally made them so right.
